Hello again, dear reader.
In case you're new here, I'm Alastair Johnston and you're receiving this newsletter because you subscribed over at my blog or via a link from Substack. I'm grateful for you giving me some of your time and attention and hope I always inform or entertain you here. If not, please feel free to unsubscribe, I won't be offended.
It’s Christmas Eve over here in Blighty. Last minute rushing to shops to secure final bits and bobs ahead of the big day, preparing food, wrapping gifts, eating the odd mince pie and anticipating the madness and fun of tomorrow and the quiet time after it, before we hit 2024.
It’s been busy, but I did manage to get in my first Santa Dash to start the festive cheer, which I wrote a little blog about.
I’ll be back after Christmas with new writings and thoughts to share, but for now will be slowing down, recalibrating and enjoying the Christmas Season.
So I wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas (if you celebrate this tradition) and a peaceful New Year.
